The Captain is an unique Custom Character, possessing an interesting combination of items and stats that gives him a very unconventional playstyle. Lacking in movement speed, the Captain must instead use his quickly-recharging Grappling Hook to effectively move around the battlefield, while using his Black Flag Corsair and superior boss damage to destroy the targets of his hatred. Starting with curse, coolness and an additional active item slot, he offers dangers and opportunities to new and old players alike.
CHARACTERISTICS:
Starts with Infinite ammunition Corsair and Grappling Hook (+Black Flag Synergy).
One extra Active Item slot (inherent to the character).
3 Coolness, but 2 Curse (This is so the Grappling Hook charges faster, while also having downsides).
Reduced movement speed.
5% reduced damage overall, but 33% higher damage to Bosses.
Custom sprites, bosscard, facecard, and foyercard, with an anachronistic space captain aesthetic.
