The Captain is an unique Custom Character, possessing an interesting combination of items and stats that gives him a very unconventional playstyle. Lacking in movement speed, the Captain must instead use his quickly-recharging Grappling Hook to effectively move around the battlefield, while using his Black Flag Corsair and superior boss damage to destroy the targets of his hatred. Starting with curse, coolness and an additional active item slot, he offers dangers and opportunities to new and old players alike.

DESCRIPTION:

Starts with Infinite ammunition Corsair and Grappling Hook (+Black Flag Synergy).
One extra Active Item slot (inherent to the character).
3 Coolness, but 2 Curse and 10% higher shop costs (This is so the Grappling Hook charges faster, while also having downsides).
Reduced movement speed (Use the Grappling Hook to quickly reposition yourself!).
5% reduced damage overall, but 33% higher damage to Bosses.
Custom sprites, bosscard, facecard, and foyercard, with an anachronistic space captain aesthetic.
Punchout sprites and Punchout health cards, all made to be unique and distinctive to fit with the Captain's personality and aesthetic.

CHANGELOG:

1.0.0 - Uploaded the mod.

1.0.1 - Fixed a typo.

1.1.0 - Added Punchout sprites and Punchout health cards! That should mean all sprites that can appear in-game have been added! Also made it so the Captain has higher shop costs to make up for the increased money from Coolness and Curse, and a hint to what his past would've been like in the lore file.

1.1.1 - Fixed small mistakes in some sprites, finished and corrected the Lore text file, and removed some sprites that never appear in-game.

1.1.2 - Updated Punchout sprites to work with the latest Kyle's Custom Character Mod update, altered the Facecard.

1.1.3 - Fixed a singular pixel. In other words, life is pain.

1.1.4 - Fixed a small inconsistency in some idle animations, and reduced the global price multiplier penalty from 20% to 15%.

1.1.5 - Made so the custom foyercard backside would actually show up in-game. In other words, that ugly bullet in the back of it is now replaced with a pair of harpoons for the Captain.
