Batter

Honestly surprised nobody's made a newer gungeoneer based around Casey considering just how fun it is, so I thought I'd cobble together a clumsy port of Maia's old Batter mod, found here: modworkshop.net/mod/32548

Originally, this character started with some custom items (a trading card that provided 3 cool and a jeresy that protected against contact damage and increased speed). I've recreated the effects of these items using stat tweaks and vanilla items. If an actual modder happens to be reading this, I would be overjoyed if you took the time to make the original custom items work. Their sprites and outdated code are in this mod's folder, free for anyone to access.

If I could, I'd create my very own Casey themed gungeoneer, complete with a past where you have to reflect special bullets into a boss while dodging regular ones.

DESCRIPTION:

• Start with Casey
• Higher movement speed and coolness (same as what the old items gave)
• Slightly faster charge speed with Casey, but slightly lower accuracy with other firearms
• Start with the Blast Helmet (no contact damage)
