The Italian Vetterli-Vitali rifle underwent many changes since it was first adopted in 1870; It was originally a single-shot black powder rifle, with a hastily added magazine upgrade in 1887. By the time WWI started, the Italians had already replaced the rifle with the Carcano, but the demand for rifles was so high that the Vetterli was upgraded again to use Carcano clips.

Included in this pack are the original M1870 model and the updated M1870/87/15 model. Attachment points are identical to Grey's Vetterli mod.
