I still have to go back and fix up the Zweihander, but that gun definitely got its inspirations from this MG08. This Maxim machine gun opts in for magazines rather than belt feed, and sure, that makes it convenient for animators and VR goers alike, but... why?
I was always confused by that, and I feel like MG08 isn't a great name for it. I think they could've called it their own thing and that'd do better, but history has come and gone, it's the MG08, deal with it.
Massive thanks to Jerry, because he's the Maxim guy that got the blueprints to make Maxim handles, I feel like the knockoff product passing it around to other guns.
