Weird Cycling-Modifying Attachments that Modify Your Weapon's Cycling Mechanisms in Various Ways

Don't got a better name for them, sorry!

Featureset/How to use

  • Found under Attachments/Weird Cycling-Modifying Attachments.
  • Two variations -- Muzzle-mounted & Picatinny-mounted.
  • The attachments become invisible when... attached.
  • The green direction on the icons is the direction that can cycle, and the red direction is the one that you have to manually control.
  • Put them on your gun as a regular muzzle/pic rail attachment and it, depending on the type:
    • Prevents the weapon from cycling on its own, requiring you to rack the bolt backward and forward every time.
    • Prevents the weapon from cycling backward, requiring you to pull the bolt backward every time, acting as if the weapon's gas system is disabled, with the recoil spring present.
    • Prevents the weapon from cycling forward, requiring you to push the bolt forward every time, acting as if the weapon's gas system is functional, with the recoil spring missing.

Limitations

  • Do not put these on guns without a bolt you can cycle. Or do, turning such weapons into FP-45 Liberator varieties. I can't tell you what to do.

Shoutouts to:

  • CityRobo for his wonderful work on the OpenScripts2 library!
  • Everyone who has worked on the H3VR Utils library!
  • ShermanJumbo for some miscellaneous help!
  • Admirailgun for their support!

Changelog

  • 1.0.0 - Release!
  • 1.0.1 - Fixed a silly issue with the muzzle attachments being able to mount backwards.
  • 1.0.2 - Resolved potentially-missing dependency.
