Act 3 Encounters adds 12 Act 3 Encounters to KCM (With a slight rebalance)

What is added?

  • 12 new Encounters from Act 3. Some with slight variations
  • 12 custom made Bounty Hunters that will hunt you down
  • 1 Rare Bounty Hunter

How does it work?

  • The Encounters are added to the normal Encounter Pool. That mean that you will see vanilla Encounters and these 12 Act 3 Encounters.

  • All cards have a chance (most of them 10% So as high as a Raven Egg from a Cuckoo) to be replaced as a Bounty Hunter. Bounty Hunters are strong cards, so don't underestemate them. Of course they are "balanced". They are based on real Bounty Hunters that I encountered in a normal Act 3 playthrough

  • Encounters are sorted by difficulty. Easier Encounters are encountered at the beginning of a run and harder Encounters at the end of a Run.

  • Act 3 Encounter can occur in any region

Balance

  • The Act 3 Encounters are on average harder than the vanilla KCM Encounters, due to them going on for twice as many rounds. I rebalanced some Encounters to make them harder or easier. But they are still very much vanilla like. I documented all vanilla Act 3 encounters for this. So I can guarantee you, that these Encounters are vanilla like

Pack Manager

  • If you are using the Pack Manager mod, a Pack will appear in the Card Pack selection. You can enable/disable it to enable/disable the Act 3 Encounters.

  • Fixed a crutial bug that caused softlocked encounters

  • Buffed the "Botopias Best" Sigil, to not allow a 0 ATK creature

  • All Bounty Hunters have a unique Card Backround, representing the Act 3 Floppy Disks.

  • Blast von Blast is now a unique card that is available in Rare Chests and Pelts.

  • A new Bounty Hunter will replace the 7/7 Bounty Hunter for Encounters

  • When a Bounty Hunter dies, the Bounty Hunter will deal 2 damage to the Scale for the enemy (Except Blast von Blast).

Changes

  • 2.0.1 Fixed a crucial bug, because I'm an idiot. I forgot the actual content of the mod. LOL

  • 1.1.1 Lowered the chance for Bounty Hunters to spawn in. Also nerfed most of the Bounty Hunter.

  • 1.1.0 Added 8 new Bounty Hunters (slightly weaker than the first 4), also changed the chance for a card to turn into a Bounty Hunter to 5% for the first two turns.

  • 1.0.1 Fixed a Bug where Bounty Hunters burned themself into the table after finishing a fight.
