and does not require everyone to have it. They won't hear the custom ringtone unless they have the mod installed

This mod may alter the ringtones you hear. For example, if someone has "Wonderwall" set as their ringtone, you may hear "Ribs" instead. It will not break the game, but it may change the ringtones you experience.
