Relic Picker
Allows you to choose any relics when starting a new run (For Monster Train 2).
This's a reupload of Nexus mod with the author PattyHoswell's permission.
How to manually install:
- Install BepInEx 5.4 (or you can use the preconfigured ones)
- Run the game once (To initialize BepInEx for first time)
- Put the mod into (gamedata)\BepInEx\plugins
- Restart the game (If the mod does not show, check the game logs if there's Patty_RelicPicker_MOD installed and if BepInEx is installed correctly).
- (Optional) to install BepInEx Configuration Manager to enable/disable the mod on Challenge run easily.
How to use:
- In the start a new run menu. There is a new button called Set Starter Relics
- Pick any relic you want, there is no limit to how much relic you can pick at a time
- Start a new run to see your relic added at the beginning
How to use in Challenge run:
- Make sure the setting to allow the relic on Challenge run enabled (by default its enabled)
- Pick the relic you want to have in the beginning on the new run menu (not Challenge run)
- Go back and start the Challenge run you want
Disclaimer:
- The mod doesn't do any prevention, enforcing or checks if your run is going to encounter a duplicate relic.
- There're a few tests done with duplicated relics, some have weird behaviour but so far nothing extreme (like crash, no guarantee it won't crash under specific circumstances).
- If you did pick a duplicate relic, you are responsible to whatever happened on the run (well you are still responsible regardless of whether you have duplicate relic or not because it's a mod)
- The menu will sort the order based on enabled relic and name
- Re-open the menu to sort the order after enabling/disabling some relics
