Boss Level Changer

Lets you set the level of any boss in Patapon 2, except the Paragate bosses(Gaeen, Ciokina, Shooshookle, Goruru). You can also bypass the level 100 scaling cap with this mod.

This will edit your save, so backup your save/take note of your current levels if you want to revert to your original boss levels at some point.

How to use

1. Launch the game once to generate the config file
2. Change the boss levels in the config file located at {Game_folder}\BepInEx\config

How the config works

A value of -1 as a boss level will tell the mod to skip that boss when changing levels. All boss levels are set to -1 by default, and any successfully changed level is also automatically set to -1 afterwards. This is to prevent bosses from always being set to the level in the config every time you load the game, allowing them to still level up naturally.

If you'd like to change a boss level, just change the -1 to whatever level you want. The config is reloaded every time you load a save, so you don't have to exit the game entirely to apply changes, just reload your save slot.

How to manually install

1. Drop the .dll file into {Game_folder}\BepInEx\plugins

Windows:

"AppData\Local\BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment\PATAPON 1+2 REPLAY\Saved\SaveGames\some_id\P2\patapon 1+2 replay_savedata_p2.sav"

You can type "%localappdata%" in a file explorer address bar to to get to "AppData/Local" quickly.
