SettingsSaver

Automatically saves and reapplies all your PEAK settings every session.

What does this mod do?

• SettingsSaver will automatically save all of your current settings the first time you launch the game with the mod installed.
• Every time you launch PEAK, your preferred settings will be instantly and silently reapplied, with no need to manually reconfigure after updates, crashes, or fresh installs.
• Supports all main settings tabs (General, Graphics, Audio, Controls).

How it works

• The first time you launch PEAK with this mod, it automatically scans and saves your current settings to a config file (SettingsSaver.json) in your BepInEx/config folder.
• On every future launch, SettingsSaver will automatically reapply all your saved settings right after the game loads.
• Whenever you change any setting in the in-game menu, the mod immediately updates and saves the change, keeping your config up to date.

Installation

1. Install BepInEx 5.4.2403 for PEAK if you haven’t already.
2. Download the latest release of SettingsSaver from Thunderstore.
3. Extract the contents to your PEAK/BepInEx/plugins folder.

Usage

• That’s it! You don’t have to do anything else.
• If you change your settings in-game, they are saved and will persist after restarts.
• The config file is BepInEx/config/SettingsSaver.json. You shouldn’t need to edit this by hand.

Why use this mod?

• No more phantom resets: Fixes a PEAK bug where settings appear correct in the menu after a restart, but the actual game ignores them and silently uses defaults until you manually change and reapply each one. This mod ensures your real in-game settings always match what you see in the UI, every session.

• Compatible with all other mods that don’t override PEAK’s own settings system.
