Auto Region

Remembers the first region you click (works for Public and Private/Host Game) and then auto-selects that region next time so you can skip the region picker. One config for both flows.

What it does

• First run: You open the Regions screen and click a region (e.g., US East). AutoRegion saves that choice.

• Next time:

  • Public: Pressing Public auto-sets your saved region and goes straight to Server List (optional: Public Game Choice).
  • Private/Host: Pressing Host Game auto-sets your saved region and goes straight to Saves (Host flow), skipping the picker.

• Supports all in‑game regions:

  • us = USA East
  • usw = USA West
  • ussc = USA South Central
  • eu = Europe
  • asia = Asia
  • au = Australia
  • cae = Canada East
  • cn = China
  • hk = Hong Kong
  • in = India
  • jp = Japan
  • kr = Korea
  • sa = South America
  • tr = Turkey
  • uae = United Arab Emirates
  • za = South Africa

Friendly names like “US East/West/South Central” are normalized to the correct codes above.

Config

Config file: BepInEx/config/com.repo.qol.preferredregion.cfg

• Enabled (bool, default true)

  • Master on/off for the mod.

• PreferredRegionCode (string, default empty)

  • Saved automatically on your first click in the Regions screen. Leave blank to let AutoRegion learn your choice. You can also set any valid code manually (see list above).
  • To re-pick later, clear this value and reopen the game; the next region you click is saved again.

• JumpStraightToServerList (bool, default true)

  • Public flow only. If true, pressing Public jumps directly to Server List. If false, it goes to Public Game Choice first.

Note: AutoRegion includes a small navigation guard to prevent double-opens if other mods touch the same menu pages. If you also use another “auto region” mod, consider disabling one of them to avoid duplicated navigation.
