Give the cat what it asks… or it collects in blood.

Collector

Meet the Collector, a smug cat in a hovering basket that drifts into your level with a 25% spawn chance and fixates on one unlucky player.

It follows its target and asks three times for a valuable. Just drop one beside the basket. It does not actually take the item. If you pay, the Collector will either vanish on the spot or float away and fade. Either way, it will never appear again in that level.

Ignore it after the third ask and the Collector stops being cute. It will kill you, then hunt down every remaining player in the level at extreme speed until the lobby is silent.

The Collector cannot be killed. Do not try. He is a GOD in that little basket.

⚙️ How It Works

  • Spawn Chance: 25% per level (configurable)
  • Single Target: Fixates on one player
  • Three Asks: Requests a valuable three times
  • Appease or Perish:
    • Pay: Collector disappears or drifts off and will not return
    • Ignore: Collector kills its target and then hunts everyone else
  • Invincible: Cannot be damaged or destroyed

TL;DR: Give the cat what it asks. Or die.

🧩 Config

You can edit how often the Collector appears.

File path:
BepInEx/config/empress.repo.kittycurse.cfg

Section:

[Spawn]
SpawnChance = 0.25

Value range:

  • 0.0 → never spawns
  • 0.25 → 25% spawn chance (default)
  • 1.0 → always spawns

🚫 What It Is Not

  • Not manually spawnable.
The Collector cannot be summoned with commands, spawn menus, RepoLib, or any external tools.
It is a self-contained enemy system.
