⚡ EquiBoom

💥 Equipment Activation Mod

EquiBoom Icon

🧠 Overview

EquiBoom adds a new item to Risk of Rain 2 that introduces a unique gameplay twist: a chance to trigger your equipment automatically without consuming its charge.

Perfect for builds centered around high equipment uptime or those that rely on powerful activations.

⚙️ How It Works

  • 🔸 Effect: Grants a chance for your equipment to activate on its own.
  • 🔹 Trigger: Randomly procs during combat or specific item interactions (configurable).
  • 🔸 Charge: Does not consume the equipment charge when triggered this way.
  • 🔹 Stacking: Each stack increases the activation chance.
  • 🔸 Compatibility: Works with most standard and modded equipment.

(Exact balance values still in testing — mod is under development.)

🧩 Planned Features

  • ⚖️ Configurable proc rate and stacking behavior
  • 🎧 Visual and audio cue on automatic activation
  • 🔗 Synergy settings for other equipment mods
  • 🌐 Multiplayer sync and balance polish

⚠️ Known Issues

  • ❌ Certain custom equipment may not trigger properly
  • ⏳ Effects may overlap with cooldown reduction items (to be refined)

🛠️ Installation

  1. 📦 Install BepInExPack and R2API
  2. 📁 Drop the .dll file into your Risk of Rain 2/BepInEx/plugins folder
  3. ▶️ Launch the game

Would you like me to make a version formatted specifically for Thunderstore’s markdown parser (so spacing, headers, and emoji placement render perfectly there)?
