Adds Komachi Onozuka as a playable character.

Komachi is a character experiment in creating an archetype that can simultaneously function on its own or pivot to being a support piece for whatever shenanigans are desired in the deck, without adding much more to Lost Branch of Legend's collection of heavy draw and mana generation cards.

Themes

Shortcut (White)

Komachi has the power to manipulate distance, a fact that is reflected in Shortcut, her unique mechanic. Shortcut is a multi-purpose keyword whose function is to improve the consistency of your draws, and how you use it will change run-to-run or even dynamically throughout the run.

Afterlife/Ferried (White/Black)

Komachi's job is to ferry dead spirits across the Sanzu River to Higan, and she has cards to match. Many of her white cards (and some black) have numerous, various and accessible Afterlife effects that trigger when they are Ferried, once per turn. Cards are Ferried when they are forcibly moved between the hand, draw pile, discard pile and Exile, barring a few exceptions.

Debuffs and self-debuffs (Black)

With her shinigami powers, manipulating the battlefield is more than possible. Komachi's cards have access to a unique debuff called Karma, that reduces enemy damage output, increases their damage taken and is semi-persistent, on top of self-debuff synergies and a very wide variety of other debuffs to cripple enemies with great effectiveness for reaping.

Temporary cost reduction/0-cost attacks (White/Black)

Temporary cost reduction has a strong presence in the White&Black pool, and there is a lot of subtle synergies sprinkled in Komachi's cards that allow for extreme mana efficiency.

Additional notes

This being my first character mod made with no prior experience, and being slightly more experimental in one of the mechanics, it most likely is or will forever remain unbalanced. I appreciate any and all constructive feedback to be discussed privately on Discord (cyaneko.moe).
That being said, this mod is in maintenance mode (bugfixes only) while I am taking a break from Lost Branch of Legend.
KomachiB is very tricky to get right and balance without feeling either extremely oppressive or straight up bad, and no mod in similar roguelite deckbuilders that I know of has accomplished that feat successfully so far. This issue is exacerbated by the fact that it was somewhat rushed with less playtesting. I want to engineer a proper archetype that feels good to play, is relatively splashable and is not a simple stat pile, but to do so, I need a break from the game to find fresh ideas.

Card design is hard.
