This mod was made by Azumatt for the JamesJonesTV Dedicated Server.

How It Works (In-Game)

1. Finding Draugr

• Works on regular swamp draugr:

  • Melee draugr
  • Ranged (bow) draugr

They behave normally until you start feeding them.

2. Taming Draugr

Food to tame:

• By default, draugr are tamed using Raw Fish.

How to tame:

1. Go to the swamp and find a draugr.
2. Throw Raw Fish on the ground near it.
3. Let the draugr eat the fish (they will walk over and consume it).
4. Over time, it becomes tamed (this takes a while, similar to other tameable creatures).

Once tamed, the draugr will:

• Become friendly.
• Be commandable (follow/stay via the usual tameable controls).
• Get a slightly different look so you can tell it’s yours.

If taming doesn’t work, your server admin may have changed what they eat.

3. Feeding Tamed Draugr

After taming, you should feed them to keep them happy and ready for breeding.

Extra food for tamed draugr:

• By default, tamed draugr also eat Cooked Fish.
• Server owners can configure additional foods.

How to feed:

• Drop the food on the ground near them.
• They will automatically seek out and eat nearby valid food items.

4. Breeding (Draugr Offspring)

Tamed draugr can breed under the right conditions.

Basic idea:

• Two tamed draugr nearby.
• They’re well-fed (especially with their “tamed” food like Cooked Fish).
• Population in the area is below a limit (to avoid endless overcrowding).

If conditions are met:

• They will eventually produce a draugr offspring.
• Offspring grow and behave like normal draugr of that type, but are part of your tamed line.

Exact timers, ranges, and limits are configurable by the server, but as a player you just need to:

• Keep them fed
• Keep them together
• Give them some space (don’t cram 30 into one tiny area)

5. Loot & Balance (Important!)

To prevent easy loot/gear farming:

• Tamed draugr do not drop their normal loot by default when they die.
• By default, they drop nothing.
• Server admins can optionally set custom drops for tamed draugr via a config setting.

So don’t treat them as disposable loot bags—treat them as actual companions.
