The Browning Automatic Rifle, while mainly associated with the American military of WWI and WWII, came in a wide number of different variants, especially in the interwar years.
- The Browning WZ1928 is a Polish copy of the FN M1924, chambered in 7.92x57mm Mauser.
- The Chinese BAR Conversion is a postwar variant based on the M1930 that uses AKM Magazines.
- The FN DA1 is a postwar variant based on the M1930 that uses FAL Magazines.
- The FN M1930 is a Belgian variant chambered in 7.92x57mm Mauser.
- The KG M/21 is a Swedish variant chambered in 6.5x55mm.
The Polish and Swedish models have a safe-semi-full auto trigger group, whereas the Belgian models have the same safe-slow-fast trigger group as the M1918A2 BAR.
