Description
A Loot companion mod created for Modmas 2023, have a dog companion to help you loot! Comes with 2 versions of Dogmeat with different slot configurations
Features:
- Follows you around
- Hold up to 3 Items - 2 on their back and 1 in their mouth
- Finds nearby useful items and carries them back to you
- Head Picatinny Rail - Put a camera on your dog
- Carriable
- Very Pettable
- Loves the baseball above all else
Differences between Dogmeat and Dogmeat Backpack:
- Regular Dogmeat has 2 slots on their back that can lock items but can't use backpacks
- Dogmeat Backpack is balanced around gamemodes such as Supply Raid and Safehouse mods requiring a backpack to store additional items
Troubleshooting
Q: Dogmeat disappears when I do a clean up
A: Place dogmeat into an inventory slot before you do a cleanup
Q: Dogmeat is not picking anything up?
A: Dogmeat needs to move around a bit to pickup the scent of objects, he sometimes picks up strange objects, check his mouth for an invisible item
Q: Dogmeat is laying down with a ? above their head and never moving
A: The map may not properly support Dogmeat's pathing, try placing him in an inventory slot and moving to another location
