A simple mod that introduces changes to the mechanics of dynamic difficulty in KCM. In the original game, this mechanic serves as a tool for smoothly increasing difficulty as the player progresses through the game map and upgrades their deck. It depends on which cards Leshy will place, in what quantity and how often.
It adds a configuration file where you able to:
Configuration files are generated after launching the game, with the mod installed, at least once. After you can find it in BepInEx configs folder (BepInEx/config) by name "N0.1DEA.CustomDifficulty".
The mod adds 4 difficulty presets for easy installation and to start playing without unnecessary settings.
Difficulty range: 0 - 10 (modifier: -2). For those who want to learn some new mod without huge jumps in difficulty.
Difficulty range: 0 - 20 (modifier: 0). Base games difficulty settings.
Difficulty range: 10 - 20 (modifier: 1). For fans of more difficult experience.
Difficulty range: 20 - 20 (modifier: 0). For nolife persons (like me). * Preset by Annoying Difficulty challenge.
Random difficulty and modifier range every card battle. For true casino enjoyers.
[!] To make your manual preset works, "Difficulty" parameter must be "Custom". There are 3 parameters available to you here. Maximum allowed value is 20!
The minimum value of difficulty. Logically? :>
The maximum value of difficulty. The upper limit of difficulty. :>
Addition value to the current difficulty, that can be negative.
New Difficulty = Current Difficulty + Difficulty Modifier
New Difficulty + Min difficulty value
New Difficulty = The lowest between Max Difficulty and New Difficulty
Mod adds 2 difficulty based challenges. (Thrice said, lol. That's me)
Override current difficulty with Annoying preset (only inside game, don't worry about config). 20 points reward. Try yourself versus strongest Leshy encounters from the start. It also affect on opponent totem choosing, and other card based challenges. Good luck.
