Have you ever noticed many items in this game share the same sounds for actions such as grabbing & dropping? It isn't a huge deal or anything, but I still wanted to take it upon myself to add some diversity in how some of these objects sound, by making them myself with some (admittedly) amateur sound design.
Each of the included sounds were recorded on a Blue Snowball microphone and edited with Audacity, using various objects I found around my house & bought for the purposes of this mod. I intend for all future additions to be the same way (without using any sort of stock/free sounds), so updates will be infrequent.
At some point i will try to include photos of the irl objects used for each of these items, but i too lazy right now.
I've also decided to apply some of these sounds to items from mods that are either variants or similar enough to vanilla scrap. I suppose this makes my audio slightly less "unique" but oh well. This is the case for:
- Tall lamp from Wesley's Moons / Trite
- All custom soda cans from LC_Office
- Variants of some items from MetalItemVariants & LCGoldScrapMod
Feedback is welcome! You can find me in the thread in the modding discord.

With just SoundAPI, I'm currently unable to make this as good as I'd like, due to audio sources being shared across every item that's picked up from the ground. For example if I changed the pickup-from-ground source to my toothpaste sound, you'd hear that on 24 other items including cash registers...
So until there's a way around this, my "Grabbing" sounds will only apply to items when you "unpocket" them (scrolling onto it in your inventory). Everything else works as intended though.
