

A relentless Green Demon spawns halfway through each biome and hunts the closest player.
It doesn’t stop. It doesn’t forget.
And it will ruin you.
Inspired by the Green Demon Challenge, this mod turns every run into a panic-inducing frantic race where teamwork, betrayal, and terrible decisions decide who survives.
Halfway through each biome, a Green Demon will spawn behind the group, and begins to chase the closest player.
if it touches you... you're done.
To keep things fair, the demon slows down as it gets closer, and it's a bit slower at going up or down. It will also play a little tune, so you can easily know where it currently is. There is also a visual HUD tracker that tracks the demon on screen.
By default, they also despawn after lighting the next campfire.
Like the original Green Demon Challenge, the key is to track where the demon is.
You'll then need to use the mountain itself as your shield. So by moving swiftly behind rocks/obstacles, you can effectively make the demon stuck and climb without any issue.
Another good strategy is to split up. You could potentially confuse the demon, earn some ease of mind and even make it stuck if you're smart about it. You could also decide to sacrifice one of you when it becomes dire.

You can tune the mod to fit your group's needs. This is particularly useful if you want a more casual climb, or add a bit more chaos in +20 lobbies.
When in a lobby, the host’s settings applies to everyone.

How long the demon will wait after spawning before starting to chase players.
Sets how Green Demons spawns and despawns. Can be any of:
NORMAL (default): Despawns when campfire is lit.HARD: Pauses at campfire, resumes when it goes out. If there are more green demons than Green Demon Amount, the mod will not spawn demons.VERY_HARD : Same as HARD but demons always spawns at each biome.Restricts the type of caught effects that can be chosen with the RANDOM caught effect.
