Peak Audio Fix
Peak Audio Fix keeps PEAK's audio from dropping out when too many silent looping sounds are still playing.
PEAK can leave rope, hook, campfire, ambience, and other loop sources playing at zero volume. Unity still counts those sources against its real voice budget, which can cause important sounds like voice chat, music, and nearby effects to become virtualized and inaudible.
What It Fixes
- Parks silent looping audio sources after they stay silent briefly.
- Resumes parked loops if the game raises their volume again.
- Gives voice chat the highest audio priority.
- Gives global and music sounds high priority.
- Sorts audible 3D world sounds by distance so nearby sounds beat far-away sounds.
- Also depends on RejoinAudioFix to handle voice chat not working when joining a second lobby without restarting the game.
