Designed specifically for Downpour, Alloyed Collective, and long loops where the ambient level scale gets absurd.
When playing with difficulty mods, the ambient level can increase multiple times per second. If you have a drone army or Devotion Lemurians, this results in a constant, blinding strobe-light effect and a massive drop in FPS due to hundreds of particle systems spawning at once.
