2R4R

A global rebalance mod aiming to completely change the gameplay loop in Risk of Rain 2. You must make tough decisions and take risks to succeed.

For the full experience, it's suggested to run this mod without other content mods.

What to Expect

More punishing timer mechanics, making it critically important to make sacrifices and take risks.
Significant changes to many items, so no item feels useless. Opportunistic players can make the most of their luck without using printers.
Tweaks to improve player defense, while reducing recovery. Push yourself to your limits.
Overhaul of the economy, from interactable costs to scaling.
Major survivor and elite reworks - playstyles and gameplay priorities become extremely well defined.
Changes to difficulty modifiers, both in the main game and in Eclipse, so that every step up in challenge is significant.

WARNING: 2R4R is not for the faint of heart. At high difficulty levels, expect to be rushed through stages at blistering speeds, or punished heavily. If you're a fan of vanilla's tedious pacing, this mod is not for you.

Swan Song includes 40+ items and item reworks, new artifacts and interactables, and new skills for certain survivors.

You also might want to keep an eye on the sky...

Meteor storms begin after 10/7/3.5 minutes on each stage, depending on difficulty. However, meteors will not strike inside the teleporter charge zone, so get ready to leave a stage at a moment's notice.
