BetterBlight
This mod aims to put Blight on par with Poison, but in a (hopefully) interesting and balanced way. Compared to Poison's passive playstyle
and raw DOT damage, it is a more aggressive, supplemental debuff that provides the most benefit when used with other damaging attacks or items.
This is my first mod, so please ping me in the RoR2 modding server (server nickname @pinky, username @pinky1emonade for DMs) if there are any bugs or complaints.
Key Features (completely configurable!)
- Blight now resets duration upon stacking!!
- Reduces enemy armor by
10 per stack
- Reduces enemy movement speed by
10% per stack*
- Reduces enemy damage by
5% per stack*
- Slightly increased Blight duration
(5s -> 6s)
- Slightly decreased Blight DPS to balance the longer duration and stack resetting
(20% per tick -> 16% per tick)
*Each stack of Blight gives diminishing returns on stat reductions (completely configurable)
Config
- Every parameter listed above as well as some other ones are available to tweak in the config file if you'd like to rebalance it for yourself!
