This phenomenon also affects geographic significance, oddly freezing the deep ocean, moisture flames, deep frost caverns, many sudden appearances of high-freezing mountains *(recorded to even surpass the earth's atmosphere)*, and other bizarre appearances. Only a few notes record some of these explored effects come from an adventurer.\n\n\n## Units Lore\n\n| Unit | Lore |\n| -- | -- |\n| Abnormal Envoy | Once a wandering bard named Enoch, he roamed the Tundra forest with a violin in hand, searching for lost ruins or kindred spirits to spark his musical inspiration. His journey ended abruptly when he was captured at a remote temple by the cult of the Pale Owl.

The cult had been desperately seeking a musician for their sacred ritual, and finding Enoch seemed like fate. However, Enoch refused, unwilling to play for anyone at the time. Furious, the cult instead used him as a sacrifice in a separate dark ritual.

The ritual succeeded in its twisted way—it healed the cult’s ailing elders, but it also warped the body of their sacrifice. Enoch was no longer human, nor was he bound by mortality. Transformed into a creature of wood that spoke in haunting tones, he unleashed his wrath upon the cult. In the closed, shadowed chamber, the massacre was swift and brutal, leaving no survivors to bear witness.

Escaping into the night, the creature left behind only evidence of its fury. It was no longer Enoch, but in the way it moved, echoes of his past self remained—swift, deliberate, and hauntingly graceful. |\n| Frigid Huntress | **The Lady of the Birch Forest**, The Frigid Huntress, as she has come to be known, is the only figure who dares to venture into the frozen depths of the boreal birch forest. A region veiled in mystery, its trees twist with a shimmering, unnatural cold, and those who wander into its heart rarely return. Those who do speak in hushed whispers of flickering shadows, unseen eyes watching from between the trunks, and the chilling feeling of being hunted by something ancient and unseen.

Unlike other areas transformed by *Winterland*, the birch forest remains eerily unchanged. While other regions have seen an increase in beastly tracks and cryptic sightings, the birch forest is a realm of silence and stillness. Hunters who once braved its depths have long abandoned it, their stories filled with shadowy cryptids and unnatural whispers. The forest itself feels hostile to human presence, and many believe the Frigid Huntress must possess either unmatched skill or an invitation to death.

She is a ghostly figure, seen but never approached, her pale form glimpsed through the trees. Her bow, gleaming with icy enchantments, strikes with precision, but no lost arrows or traces of her passage are ever found. The forest swallows all evidence of her existence. Though her name is spoken in awe and fear, she has never been seen in villages or gatherings. This isolation has sparked rumors that she may not be entirely human. Some believe she is a cryptid herself, a being bound to the frozen forest.

With every sighting, the whispers grow stories of a spectral huntress moving soundlessly through the snow, hunting not for sport, but for a purpose only she knows. Some say she is protecting a hidden secret deep within the birch forest, something not meant for mortal eyes. Her existence only deepens the enigma of the forest, adding to the terror that keeps others from setting foot in the frozen wilderness. |\n| Skrægore | There was a man named Gorran, who was abandoned as child, fostered by the small poor orphanage. Although the others didn't manage to survive, he managed to grown as a poor farmer in the damp and cursed village, he lived as the horror and dread as the only surviving orphans looms his life. The winters seemed like ages, the crops barely growing, and the hunger grew harsher.

One tragic night, Gorran, in desperation, wandered into the haunted forest, seeking any means to save the village from starvation, yet eventually got lost and falls too. Lying on the ground, dying of hunger, the trees whispered his name, and in the deep forest, he met a figure, a face made of mold, offering a deal. In exchange for his soul, an eternal harvest. A trade was struck.

Fields arounds him flourished, and the village is saved. But the wheat grew too thick, too fast, and the price for the harvest began to reveal itself. With each harvest, someone would disappear, their souls swallowed as a fertilizer.

Wracked with guilt and terror, Gorran tried to end the harvest, but the curse had already taken its root. His body, twisted into a scarecrow, haunted by spirits that drove him hopeless with the wails of the souls reaped. His face became holes, distorted, the reeks of famine, his clothing dampened and tattered, taken from leathers of the former residents.

Now, Skrægore stays at the cursed wheat fields, a silent, mournful figure. His scythe remains in his side, a tool he used in defense of the people he failed to protect. Orphans was seen wander into his domain, somehow drawn to the haunting figure. He watches over them in silence, his remain tethered to the earth by the pole of his pact, unable to truly move, but ready to defend. |\n| Dreamful Oracle | In a distant time, before the world knew the relentless grip of *Winterland*, she was once a succubus, thriving in the allure of desire, driven only by the lust for fleeting pleasures. However, as *Winterland* swept the lands with its cold awakening, something within her snapped. She was evolved from her base desires, forcing her to confront the eternal night and its existence that lay beyond normal comprehension.

Now, she is a sleepless overseer of dreams, an entity from the collective belief of those who wander the dreamscapes. She watched over dreamers but never able to rest herself. Her presence is ethereal, striding through dreams as easily as one walks across the earth. Her powers are capable of bending dreams, guiding those lost in the labyrinth of their own mind.

But her evolution did not erase her past, and the rumors surrounding her former life as a succubus follow her. The people who praise for her gifts also spread rumors of her seductive history, fueled by her unnaturally perfect form, her over friendly demeanor, and a beauty that seeds envy to some. Despite her kindness, the taint of her past denies her acceptance, forcing her to wander, never settling, never truly belonging.

But there is also another layer to her story, one that only a few would remember, the belief that she is the broken Dream princess. This tale speaks of a celestial who fell in love with an earthly hero. The two never touched, yet their bond was so profound that it was said to echo the primal care. The earthly hero, after saving the princess from a tragedy, died in his sleep, leaving her shattered.

Heartbroken, the princess uses her power, diving into the Dreamworld in a desperate attempt to find remnants of the hero. But all she could recover were fragmented memories, moments when he had seen her, his gaze filled with true compassion. Now, she sits on solitude, staring at the night sky, wiping away her tears. She carries this painful memory as her anchor in the cold lands, a relic of the life she can never return to.

This will be a heavy and bold reminder to the fools who ignored the law and order of all reality: no evil shall exist without permission. |\n| Cryobomination | Found mutilated and frozen in a hidden corner of this realm, surprisingly still alive, but sleeping in a state of cryostasis. Not many known origins are other than being known as an **Undead King**, which will ends in demise in the hands of a certain *hero* across time and space.

The beast that now is called **Cryobomination** is a walking calamity, a monster beyond logic, it's now a representation of **Winterland**'s storm itself. Should you dare to accept its allure, mere contact would be equal to accepting the cold embrace of death.
