DurableHearths

DurableHearths is a lightweight mod for Valheim that makes Hearths more resilient. It prevents damage from walking on them and restricts damage sources to pickaxes only—no more accidentally destroying your cozy fire setup!

• ✅ Only pickaxe-type damage can affect Hearths—other damage sources are ignored.

🎮 How It Works

• When a player steps on a Hearth, it no longer takes damage.
• The mod blocks all other damage types except from pickaxes.
• Pickaxe attacks function normally, allowing controlled destruction.
• Works passively—just install and play!

📦 Installation

1. Install BepInExPack (required to load mods):

   • Recommended: Use a mod manager like r2modman or Thunderstore Mod Manager.
   • Manual: Download BepInExPack for Valheim, unzip it into your game directory.

2. Download DurableHearths:

   • From Thunderstore (when published).
   • Or Download from GitHub Releases.

3. Install the mod:

   • If using r2modman: Add the mod to your profile.
   • Manually: Place the .dll file into the BepInEx/plugins/ folder.

4. Launch Valheim and enjoy your indestructible Hearths! 🔥

🧪 Compatibility

• Works with most building mods and environmental tweaks.
• Tested with Valheim v0.217.x and BepInEx 5.4.2202.
• May conflict with mods that modify WearNTear.Damage.

🔧 Configuration

• No configurable settings—mod applies automatically.
• If needed, press F2 in-game to verify the mod is active. It Will Log in Console
