Create and import your own Mii characters based on yourself, friends, family – anyone! – and have fun fishing, together!
Please disable all custom species mods while using this mod. In a future update, you will be able to retain any custom species you have, and even transform your Mii Characters into animals, and/or play alongside them.
Additionally, if you are a Calico mod user, you are required to set "PlayerOptimizationsEnabled" to false.
When launching the game, there will be new buttons on the main menu, one for creating Mii™ characters, and the other for converting Mii characters from legacy formats, such as the Wii and Nintendo DS.
When saving, you will be directed to [user://Mii/charinfo/Player] in order to save your Mii.
Please give the file a unique name and save it in this location.
This mod allows you to convert Mii characters from legacy file formats into those usable with Fish with Mii.
You may export Mii characters from Nintendo Consoles using these tools:
Support for Wii U/3DS Mii characters are planned in the future.
Do not confuse converting a single Mii with converting a database. These are different file formats.
If your system is not listed here, you may not convert a Mii character using this mod directly.
Nintendo Switch .charinfo files are supported directly and do not need to be converted.
Please place these files in [user://Mii/charinfo/Player], otherwise known as [C:\Users\YOURNAME\AppData\Roaming\Godot\app_userdata\webfishing_2_newver\Mii\charinfo\Player].
After obtaining your legacy Mii files, please place them in [user://Mii/import], otherwise known as [C:\Users\YOURNAME\AppData\Roaming\Godot\app_userdata\webfishing_2_newver\Mii\import].
Your Mii file will be converted to .charinfo, and placed in [user://Mii/charinfo/Player]. You may now select the Mii in the game, or edit them with the Mii Maker.
Custom maps are untested, and you may be unable to locate or reach close enough to Jaya. There will be an update that will allow map creators to reposition Jaya to accessible locations in the future.
