Three variants of the Nokota D5 rifle platform, including one brand new, custom modelled, variant based on cut concept art - Featuring the first ever wall-penetrating sight in H3VR!
A versatile weapon for versatile combatants around the world—a role once fulfilled by the Kalashnikov—now held by the D5 Copperhead. Similarly mass-produced, reliable, affordable, and endearing in its lack of finesse, the Copperhead has become the go-to choice for those who value function over form. Featuring entirely middling performance and very little conveniences in ergonomics, what the D5 lacks in grace it makes up for in sheer reliability and ease of maintenance.
The Copperhead is chambered in the NATO-standard 5.56x45mm cartridge to maximize compatibility with other service firearms.
The Copperhead's younger and smarter brother, the Sidewinder is Nokota's attempt at creating a smart rifle. Sold as either an upgrade package for the Copperhead or as a preassembled unit, the Sidewinder comes at a very affordable price tag, with performance to match. The Sidewinder has no pretensions of being at the cutting edge or being able to stand toe-to-toe with its Militech or Arasaka counterparts, the Sidewinder has proudly carved out it's niche in the lower end smart weapons market.
The Sidewinder is chambered in a bespoke Nokota 5.6mm Smart Cartridge.
Despite being a state of the art prototype, the Diamondback is still too heavy, unwieldy, and far too crude to have earned the title of a "Tech" weapon by modern standards. Instead, it stands as a barely tamed force of screaming energy encased in industrial-grade steel. Designed by Nokota with a single purpose—punching through the reinforced chrome of even the most heavily augmented cyberpsychos—the Diamondback overdelivered. Less of a precision instrument and more of a battering ram, unapologetically inelegant and deliberately underengineered, prioritizing raw stopping power above all else. Brutal, loud, uncontrollable, the Diamondback is a weapon as terrifying as the enemies it was designed to bring down.
This particular unit is equipped with Nokota's prototype X-SCAN 3100V camera connected to the rear sight, allowing the user to see targets through any obstruction at ranges of up to 20m. Though capable of firing in full auto, the weapon rapidly overheats and loses accuracy and controllability very quickly.
