A PEAK survival mode I made — sharing it here with everyone.
Spent over a week thinking through this and ran hundreds of test rounds. Hope you have fun, and feedback is always welcome! Multiplayer testing on Discord has been mostly positive (could be biased — they're friends). The PvP balance turned out better than expected, and the dopamine hits hard when scores keep flipping back and forth between players of similar skill. A flag-less, pure speed-race PvP mode is also planned for a future update.
No separate config file needed — just press the [~] key (above TAB) to open the in-game settings menu. The default language is English since most players will be from outside Korea, but Korean is available too. Difficulty is freely adjustable.
A curse builds up over time and slowly drains your HP. Flags spawn randomly across the map, and eating a flag restores HP. The lower your HP, the more it heals — so you get that dramatic "I just barely survived!" feeling.
There are two main modes, plus an optional speed variant:
Also, like in Crazy Racing Kart Rider, newer players get a dynamic difficulty buff: the further behind 1st place you are, the more your movement speed and climbing become assisted. As a side benefit, this naturally prevents the leader from snowballing all the points.
Exactly what it sounds like — no reviving anyone, no looking back, just running. (No Scoutmaster appears.)
A cooperative mode where you collect flags as a team to earn 3 stars based on the team's total flag count. Get fewer than 3 stars, and the Scoutmaster will punish whoever collected the fewest flags. Because of the cooperative nature, the 3-revive limit doesn't apply.
There's a noticeable hitch the moment the map loads — still being optimized. If your machine struggles, I recommend lowering flag visibility distance and effect quality in the Graphics tab.
