Command Pause Remade
"While opening an Artifact of Command menu, pauses the game in Singeplayer, and provides protection to players in Multiplayer (Required host-only for MP)"
A lightweight, QoL mod to improve your Artifact of Command experience, especially for new players. This is a significant improvement over the previous CommandPause mod, which thankfully can be left to the past. Fully rewritten, performance prioritized, and this one actually functions.
🕒 Singleplayer
Opening an Artifact of Command menu in Singeplayer will pause the game and auotmatically resume on-close
🛡️ Multiplayer (Host-only required)
In multiplayer, freezing time is not an option. So buffs are applied to the player instead:
- Applies HealingDisabled (no regen), Immune (godmode), Untargetable (enemies ignore you), and Entangle (cannot be moved) while the menu is open
- Includes a configurable delay to keep protection effects briefly after closing the menu
⚙️ Configuration
Uses RiskOfOptions for in-game configuration. You must restart your game to enable/disable, but you can adjust the delay at any time
- Enable Singleplayer Pausing:
- If true, time will freeze while opening the Artifact of Command menu in singleplayer (default: true)
- Enable Multiplayer Protection:
- If true, players receive protection while in the Artifact of Command menu in multiplayer (default: true)
- Protection Removal Delay:
- The delay (in seconds) before protections are removed after closing the Command menu (default: 0.85s)
🛠 Installation
- Ensure you have BepInEx and RiskOfOptions installed
- Download and extract the
Ramune.CommandPauseRemade.dll into your BepInEx/plugins folder
- Launch the game and enjoy
