Crafting requires:

• Padded armor set as the base to forge the Daowei armor at The Shaper.
• Porcupine mace, Blackmetal sword, Blackmetal atgeir and Blackmetal axe as the base to forge the Daowei weapons at The Shaper.

Also, don't forget to visit Haldor — you'll need to buy a Runic Capsule from him to craft any gear from the "Arsenal of Distant Origins" series.
